(We run everything on DigitalOcean infrastructure)

By signing up, ordering, paying, or using any Redneck Road service (cloud hosting, VPS/droplets, managed hosting, website building/repair, backups, etc.), you agree to these Terms. Don’t like them? Don’t use us.

1. The Deal

  • We are a managed service provider and reseller of DigitalOcean LLC (“DO”)
  • All servers, bandwidth, and IP addresses belong to DigitalOcean
  • You are a sub-user of our DigitalOcean account and must follow both these Terms and DigitalOcean’s rules (their AUP, ToS, and SLA are incorporated by reference)
  • You must be 18 or older (or have your parent/guardian sign off)
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account

2. What You CAN Do

  • Regular websites, apps, e-commerce, mail, game servers, databases, CI/CD, Docker, backups — anything DigitalOcean itself allows
  • Resell our services to your own clients (reseller plans only)

3. What Gets You Suspended or Terminated Instantly (Zero-Tolerance)

If DigitalOcean suspends or kills the droplet, we have no choice but to pass it on to you — no refund, no warning:

  • Spam or unsolicited bulk email (DigitalOcean nukes for this fast)
  • Child sexual abuse material or anything sexualizing minors
  • Copyright infringement (we forward every valid DMCA notice and DO will act on it)
  • DDoS attacks, botnets, brute-forcing, port scanning, hacking attempts (even against your own stuff), or any attack traffic
  • Open proxies, open relays, TOR exit nodes
  • Crypto mining (DO bans it on regular droplets)
  • Anything that triggers abuse complaints or gets our account/IPs blacklisted at DO
  • Anything illegal under U.S. federal or state law

We decide what’s abusive. When in doubt, email us first.

Abuse Policy
Report abuse to abuse@redneckroad.tech
Include logs/IPs/evidence. We act within 24 hours on valid complaints.

DMCA Takedown Policy
Redneck Road Technologies respects copyright. We’re registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as a service provider under 17 U.S.C. §512.

We terminate repeat infringers. Counter-notices welcome.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Everything is prepaid (hourly or monthly, etc. — you pick)
  • 14-day money-back on first-time shared/managed hosting plans only
  • Droplets/VPS, custom builds, migrations, dedicated servers, migrations and one-time setup fees are non-refundable once provisioned or work starts
  • Chargebacks = instant termination and we fight them

    Billing & Late Payment Policy
  • Invoices due on issue date
  • 5-day grace period → auto-suspension
  • $15 re-activation fee after suspension
  • 30 days late → termination + data deletion

    Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Shared & managed hosting: 14-day money-back (first-time customers only)
  • VPS, dedicated servers, website builds, migrations: no refunds once provisioned/work started
  • Add-ons & domains: non-refundable
  • SLA credits ≠ cash refunds

Cancel anytime via ticket — no prorated refunds on annual plans.

5. Uptime & SLA

  • We pass through DigitalOcean’s 99.99% uptime SLA for the underlying droplet/network.
  • Credits only apply if DigitalOcean issues them to us (then we pass 100% to you)
  • Your bad code, hacked sites, or exceeding resource limits do not count
  • Scheduled maintenance doesn’t count against uptime
  • Support is ticket/email only (no phone unless you pay for priority)
  • We are not responsible for your bad code, hacked WordPress installs, or “I deleted my database.”

6. Backups & Snapshots

  • Managed/shared plans: we take daily off-site backups (7-day retention)
  • Raw droplets: you are 100% responsible unless you buy our managed-backup add-on
  • Snapshots and DO backups cost extra and are billed at DO’s rates
  • Backups are courtesy, not a guarantee — keep your own copies

7. Resource Usage & Fair Use

  • You get the full resources of the droplet size you paid for
  • If DO throttles or suspends the droplet because of abuse or sustained 100% CPU/memory, we suspend your account until you fix it
  • Unlimited bandwidth is “unmetered” within DO’s fair-use policy — sustained torrents or file-hosting abuse will get throttled or terminated

8. Suspension & Termination

  • We can suspend or terminate instantly if you violate these Terms or DigitalOcean’s rules or any violations of this AUP
  • DigitalOcean can kill the droplet at any time for abuse — we have zero control and zero liability
  • You can cancel anytime via ticket (prorated refund only on monthly plans, none on annual)
  • We can cancel you for any reason with 30 days’ notice (or immediately if you’re a pain in the ass)

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months
  • We are not liable for DigitalOcean outages, lost profits, data loss, or your customers yelling at you

10. Changes to Terms

We can update these Terms anytime. Major changes get 7 days’ email notice. Continued use = acceptance.

11. Governing Law & Venue

State of Oklahoma. Exclusive venue in McClain County, Oklahoma
