Redneck Road Technologies (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Redneck Road” “RRT”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We provide cloud-based software, web hosting, servers, website repair, and building services (collectively, the “Services”) exclusively to customers in the United States. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our Services or interact with our website (redneckroad.com).
We do not target or serve customers outside the U.S., and we do not comply with non-U.S. privacy laws like GDPR. If you are located outside the U.S., please do not use our Services.
By using our Services, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our Services. This includes:
a) Information You Provide
- Account details: Name, email, phone, billing address, company name, payment info (processed via secure third parties like Stripe).
- Service-related: Hosted content (websites, files, databases, emails), support tickets, website build/repair requests.
- Communications: Any info you share via forms, chat, or email.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, device info, pages visited, time spent (via logs and analytics tools like Google Analytics).
- Cookies and tracking: For functionality, security, and ads (see Section 7).
c) Information from Third Parties
- Payment processors (e.g., transaction confirmations).
- Analytics partners (e.g., aggregated usage trends).
- Identity verification services (for fraud prevention).
We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health data, racial/ethnic origin, precise geolocation) unless you voluntarily provide it in hosted content, and even then, we process it only as needed for your Services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for:
- Delivering Services: Provisioning servers, hosting sites, processing payments, providing support.
- Improving operations: Analytics, bug fixes, feature development.
- Communications: Billing, security alerts, service updates.
- Marketing: Emails about new features (opt-out anytime).
- Legal compliance: Fraud prevention, audits, enforcing our Terms.
- Targeted advertising: If applicable, based on your activity (opt-out rights below).
- Obtain explicit consent before processing sensitive personal data for Colorado residents, as required by the CPA.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly understood. However, under certain state laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA), sharing data with analytics or ad partners may count as a “sale” or “sharing.” We share only as needed:
- Service Providers: Cloud hosts (e.g., DigitalOcean), payment processors (e.g., Stripe), email tools (e.g., SendGrid), analytics (e.g., Google). They are bound by contracts to protect data.
- Business Transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
- Legal Requirements: To comply with laws, subpoenas, or protect rights/safety.
- With Consent: Or at your request (e.g., sharing with your domain registrar).
- For Colorado residents, we obtain opt-in consent before any sharing of sensitive personal data.
We do not share with unrelated third parties for their marketing without consent.

4. Your Privacy Rights Under State Laws
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Tennessee, or any other state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law (collectively, “Applicable States”), you may have additional rights. As of 2025, these include (but are not limited to) the following states: California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Utah (UCPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (ODPA), Montana (MCDPA), Tennessee (TCDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), Nebraska (NDPA), New Hampshire (NHDPA), New Jersey (NJDPA), Kentucky (KCDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Minnesota (MCDPA), Rhode Island (RIDPA).
We honor these rights where applicable. To exercise them:
- Right to Know/Access: Request details on categories/types of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and third parties shared with (up to twice per 12 months in some states).
- Right to Correct: Request fixes for inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information (subject to exceptions like legal obligations or transaction completion).
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: Opt out of “sales” (monetary exchanges) or “sharing” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) of personal information. California also allows opting out of profiling for decisions with legal effects.
- Right to Opt-In for Sensitive Data (Colorado-Specific): Colorado residents must provide explicit opt-in consent before we collect or process sensitive personal data (e.g., health information, racial/ethnic origin, biometric data). We will not process such data without your affirmative consent, obtained via a clear prompt during account setup or data upload. To provide or withdraw consent, contact privacy@redneckroad.com. If consent is not given, we may limit or decline related Services.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: California, Colorado, Connecticut, and others allow limiting use of sensitive data (e.g., race, health, precise geolocation, SSN) to what’s necessary for Services.
- Right to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising/Profiling: Virginia, Colorado, Utah, and others allow opting out of processing for targeted ads or profiling.
- Right to Data Portability: Request data in a portable format (e.g., machine-readable) in Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others.
- Right to Appeal: Appeal denied requests (all Applicable States).
How to Exercise Rights:
- Submit requests via email to privacy@redneckroad.tech or our online form at redneckroad.com/privacy-request.
- Verify identity (e.g., via account login or government ID).
- We respond within 45 days (extendable 45 days if needed). No fee for first two requests/year (where applicable); excessive requests may incur costs.
- Agents: Authorized with written permission + verification.
Universal Opt-Out: We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opt-outs across all Applicable States.
Non-Discrimination: We won’t discriminate (e.g., deny Services, charge different prices) for exercising rights, except where allowed by law.
For California residents: In the past 12 months, we collected categories like identifiers (names, emails), commercial info (payment details), internet activity (logs), and inferences (usage patterns). 5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption, firewalls, access controls) to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure—we can’t guarantee against all risks. Report suspected breaches to security@redneckroad.tech.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for Services, legal obligations, or disputes (typically 7 years for billing). Hosted content is kept until you delete or cancel. Upon request, we delete or anonymize where possible.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools for:
- Essential: Login, security.
- Analytics: Usage trends.
- Advertising: Personalized ads (opt-out via rights above).
Manage via browser settings or our cookie tool. For opt-outs, see Section 4. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals but honor GPC.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not for children under 13 (or 16 in some states). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn of such, we delete it. Parents: Contact us to review/delete.
9. International Transfers
All data processing occurs in the U.S. via U.S. providers (e.g., DigitalOcean).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We’ll notify via email or site notice for material changes. Continued use = acceptance. Check the Effective Date.
